Kate Miller grew up in the Dallas area. She received her BA from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in 2008, where she majored in Jewish Studies and Old Testament. She received dual Master degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary: Master’s of Theology and MA in Biblical Counseling. Kate is engaged in research studies and contributing to qualitative research related to the effectiveness of play therapy with immigrant and refugee children and families. Kate has been doing play and activity therapy with refugee children since 2014. She is excited to bring her training and love for different cultures to For the Nations! In her free time, she enjoys drinking lots of coffee, having deep conversations with friends, reading books, and exploring new cities.
